Robert Eugene Jackson of Croswell, age 73, died Tuesday October 19, 2021, at Lake Huron Medical Center, Port Huron. Funerals Services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday Oct 23, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with Pastor James Wood officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00am Saturday until time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Robert's memory to the family care of Hansen Funeral Home.

Robert was born in Flint Michigan on July 24, 1948 the son of the late Harrison & Maude (Whitson) Jackson and has resided in the Croswell area since 1994. He was joined in marriage to Thelma Sue Schmidt on April 15, 1988. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and truly loved to Hunt, he was a member of the NRA and Saginaw Teamsters Local 486, and had been employed by Quality Carriers until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Thelma Sue, children: Donald and wife Stacey Jackson, David and wife Kelly Jackson, Bobbie and husband Stanley Wood, Brian Jackson, Cherokee Jackson, Dakota Jackson, and Cheri Carlson. He also leaves his thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.  Also surviving is his siblings: Mae Taylor, Patricia Thayer, Carol and husband Dale Pelky, Michael and wife Laura Jackson, Jerry and wife Debra Jackson, and a host of extended family and friends. Robert is preceded in death by grandson Robert Joseph Jackson in 1988, his siblings: Herbert Jackson, Harrison Jackson Jr., James Jackson, Homer Jackson, Betty Henson, and, Linda Sue Wicks.
