Robert W. Hetzer of Otisville age 91 died Monday September 4, 2023 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday September 12, 2023 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene 7523 E. Mt Morris Rd. Otisville, MI 48463 with Rev. Alan Duce and Rev. Jan Duce officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in Robert's memory to the church memorial fund.

Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on May 3, 1932 the son of the late Wilbur and Edna (Norlin) Hetzer and has resided in the Otisville area since 1954. He was joined in marriage to Joann McCaslin September 18, 1953 and she preceded him in death January 18, 2016. Answering the call of his Country, Robert proudly served in the US Army. Robert was member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene, Robert and his wife enjoyed camping for numerous years, he loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Robert was employed by General Motors Buick working over 35 years before retiring.

He is survived by daughters: Linda Archuleta, Diana Hensley, Lisa (Geno) Burgos, and Sonya Hetzer. He also leaves his 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister Patricia "Patty" Andrews and host extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by daughter: Jodi Lynn Hetzer in 2009, daughter: Amber Hetzer in 2014; 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
