Richard H. Younis of Detroit age 80, died Thursday April 16, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Friday April 24, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Richard was born in Michigan City Indiana on June 2, 1934 and had spent most of his life in the Detroit area. He was joined in marriage to Anna Frey on July 1, 1961 and she preceded him in death on November 11, 2011. Answering the call of his country Richard served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Masters Degree in Education. He had been employed by Grosse Pointe North Community Schools for over twenty years retiring in 1986.
