Richard K. Stevens of Cheboygan formerly of Mt. Morris age 73, died Wednesday March 4, 2020 surrounded by his family. A gathering time will be held from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm Sunday March 8, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. A memorial luncheon will follow at Davison Eagles 3270 N. State Rd. Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Richard's memory to the Alzheimer Foundation.

Richard was born in Flint Michigan on March 1, 1947 the son of the late Hildreth & Mildred (Harris) Stevens and had resided in the Mt. Morris area for most of his life retiring to Cheboygan in 2000. He was joined in marriage to Maxine M. Delbridge on October 30, 1967. Answering the call of his country Richard served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid motorcyclist and truly loved camping and boating. He had been employed by General Motors Buick Division, retiring in 1997.

Surviving is wife Maxine, children; Richard Jr. and wife Margaret Stevens, Christoper and wife Lisa Stevens, Trenna and husband Travis Wright, and his seven granddaughters, and two grandsons. He also leaves his siblings; Russell and wife Debbie Stevens, Mike Stevens, Betty and husband Larry Fromwiller, Bonnie Summers, Margie and husband Thomas Frizzell, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by sister Carol Jean Stevens, sister Evonne & husband Moses Guillen, and brother-in-law Billie Summers. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
