Richard Carl Peterson Jr. of Flint age 28 died Thursday June 26, 2014 at his residence. A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 11:00am at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Don McKay officiating, burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-8pm Monday June 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution to the funeral home. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on May 16, 1986 the son of Richard and Eva (Lambaria) Peterson resided in the Flint area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Rhiannon Willard on February 16, 2009. Answering the call of this country Richard served in the US Army. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife Rhiannon; children: Phillip Peterson, Noah Peterson and Lily Peterson; parents: Richard and Eva Peterson; brothers: Daniel Peterson, and Adam Peterson; grandparents: Mary Weatherford, Maria Janisah, and Daniel Lambaria; and host of other relatives. Richard is preceded in death by: grandfathers: Merle Weatherford, and Richard Peterson; aunt: Rosa Brarrua; Uncles William Peterson and Ronald Peterson.
