Richard John Nowak of Fenton, formerly of Davison, age 57, died Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Regency of Grand Blanc. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering time of family and friends will be held from 3 – 8 pm Sunday at Hansen Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday October 15, 2018 at the funeral home. Private burial will be on the family plot in Meadowview Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Association.

Richard was born in Flint Michigan on June 2, 1961 the son of the late Raymond & Linda Faye (Staggs) Nowak and had resided in the Fenton area the last several years, spending most of his life in Davison. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman and  sports enthusiast and spent many years playing ball with his soft ball buddies. He had been employed by the John Morrell Company.

Surviving is soul mate: Katherine (Caraway)Visser, sister Char Nowak (Mozader), step-mother Vicki Nowak, and extended family. He also leaves special friends: Scott & Tracy Valentine, Marty & Marie Hall, Kevin Kingsland (Jo Latner), and the Madden Family. He is preceded in death by wife Lynne Nowak.
