Richard E. McLain age 37, of Davison, died Saturday May 24, 2025 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Richard's memory to his wife and children.

Richard was born in Lapeer Michigan on March 28, 1988 the son of James and Deborah (Kohler) McLain and has resided in Davison the last thirteen years, spending most of his life in the Lapeer area. He was joined in marriage to Samantha Chisholm on August 29, 2013. Richard was a graduate of Lapeer Community Schools and a member of Davison FOE Aries 3589 of Davison. Richard loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and loved camping. He enjoyed riding side by sides, and off road vehicles, and had a passion for just hanging out with friends and family. He was employed by Genesee County Road Commission.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Samantha and sons: Robert, John, William, Theodore, Richard, and Roger. He also leaves his mother, Deborah McLain, sister Donna Tooks, and brothers: Jeremy and Michael. He is preceded in death by his father James McLain.
