Richard "Rick" M. Dodge of Flint age 59 died Sunday April 6, 2025 with his family by his side. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday April 12, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison with Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating with cremation to follow the services. Family will receive visitors from 3:00-7:00pm Friday April 11, 2025 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Rick's memory to Veteran's Affairs or to the family.

Richard was born on March 5, 1966 in Flint, Michigan the son of Alan and Karen (Sabo) Dodge and resided in Las Vegas for many years before returning to the Flint area. Answering the call of his country Rick served in the Army during the Gulf War and was stationed in Alaska and served in the Army reserves for four years. He was joined in marriage to Gloria "Jeanie" Edwards on June 21, 1985 in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Rick was in real estate for many years. He enjoyed playing softball and was on many men's leagues throughout the years. Rick was an avid Michigan fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife: Jeanie; daughter: Amber and husband Johnny Arana; son: Richard Dodge II; mother: Karen (Sabo) Dodge; sisters: Patti (Dodge) Larkin, and Kathy Dodge; favorite uncles: Dennis Sabo and Tim Glynn; brother in laws: Rusty Edwards and Robbie Edwards; sister in law: Penny and husband Jeff. He is preceded in death by father Alan Dodge; baby brother Randall Alan Dodge; grandparents; favorite aunt Joyce (Dodge) Starnes, and his father and mother in laws Russ and Sally Edwards.
