Richard Donald Healy of Flint age 61 died Thursday December 4, 2025 at Henry Ford Detroit. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday December 11, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, with Military Honors. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday December 20, 2025 at the Shawn Baptist Church 2493 N. Genesee Rd. Burton, with Brother: Dan Cocke officiating with luncheon to follow the service. Family will receive visitors from 11:30 until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Richard's memory to Shawn Baptist Church or Carriage Town Ministers.

Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on April 6, 1964 the son of Richard G. Healy and Guadalupe Rodriguez-Rogers and resided in the Flint and Davison area most of his life. He graduated from Davison High School in 1982. Answering the call of his country Richard served in the US Navy. Richard was employed by  Yellow Truck Company for many years before retiring and he was also recognized for driving a million miles accident free. Richard was an avid baseball and football fan. He enjoyed going bowling, he had a great sense of humor, but his greatest passion was being a loving father and grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Dallas Healy, and Sydni Healy; grandchildren: Eva Marie Healy, Kimmy Aurora Pelton, and Nikko Taylor Pelton; his mother: Guadalupe Rogers; his father: Richard Healy and a host of extend family and friends.
