Richard "Rick" Rodney Ballard of Davison, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 49 died Wednesday November 20, 2024. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Wednesday December 4, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the church.

Rick was born in Flint Michigan on March 30, 1975 the son of Brad and Ruth (Barley) Ballard and had lived in Mt. Morris in his early years and in recent years Davison. He attended Mt. Morris Community Schools. Rick loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a passion for hot rods and enjoyed both working on and owning them. He spent his career in the Building Trades.

He leaves to cherish his memory parents: Brad and Ruth Ballard, and his siblings: Mike and wife Shannon Ballard, and Emily and husband Derek DeWitt. He also leaves his loving nieces, Lily, Lexi, Lyla, special uncle and aunt Tom & Suzette Barley, and a host of extended family and friends.
