Richard Lyman Bailey of Davison, age 85, died Monday September 23, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring Richard's wishes cremation has taken place. No visitation or services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Heart Association. Richard was born in Flint Michigan September 19, 1928 the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Maxwell) Bailey and has resided in the Davison area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Margie J. Gaither on November 26, 1949 in Davison. He attended Davison Community Schools Graduating Class of 1947. Richard was employed by US Postal Service as a letter carrier for twenty –three years retiring in 1979. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Margie, son Rick Bailey, grandsons Erik Bailey and Evan (Beth) Bailey. Sisters Dolores Dunlap, Darlene Jennings and a host of other relatives.
