Rex William Greenman of Burton, age 58, died Thursday November 12, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday November 16, 2015 at Bethel Assembly of God Church 6029 Lapeer Rd. Burton, Pastor John Backes, officiating. Burial will follow at Richfield Union Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Monday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Rex's memory to the family. Rex was born in Flint Michigan on August 20, 1957 the son of the late: Calvin D. & Lillian (Cronkright) Greenman and has resided in the Burton area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Venita Brisco on February 18, 1976 in Burton. Rex enjoyed playing music and was member of the Country Ramblers, and attended Bethel Assembly of God Church. Rex owned and operated Diamond Asphalt Company. He leaves to cherish memory wife Venita, son Rex William Greenman II and wife Elisa, and daughter Lillie Jean Hager. Also he leaves his grandchildren; Allison May Hager, Adin Jesse Hager, Lucas Calvin Hager, Jacob Callen Greenman, Tanner Shivley, and Olivia Ann Greenman. His brother: Calvin D. "Skip" Greenman and wife Robin, half-sister Judy Lou Ledford, and a host of other relatives and friends. Rex is preceded in death by granddaughter Grace Greenman, and brother Scott Glen Greenman.
