Raymond Edward Donovan, formerly of Ortonville, age 78, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place, and no public services are being held.

Raymond was born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Eugene and Verna (Raymond) Donovan, and had spent most of his life in Ortonville and his winters in Florida.

He was joined in marriage to Nancy Seamann on October 9, 1962. Raymond enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid golfer and always found time to fish. He had been employed by General Motors Pontiac Motor Division until his retirement in 2001.

He leaves his wife of 60 years Nancy, and his children: Steve (Lana) Donovan, and Danielle (Brian) Flowers. Also, he leaves his loving grandchildren: Jesamina, Desiree, Moriah, and great-grandchildren: Caeden, Teagan, Ty, Eisley, and Ollie. His surviving brother Jim Donovan, sister Diane Hopson, and a host of extended family and friends. Raymond is preceded in death by his brother Gene Donovan.
