Priscilla Mary Howarth of Wolverine Lake and Oscoda, age 74, died Thursday October 8, 2015 at McLaren-Flint. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Thursday October 15, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Robert C. Bacik officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Thursday until time of services at the church. Priscilla was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on September 18, 1941 the daughter of the late; Phillip & Viola (Nitz) Hrischuk spending many years in the Oscoda & Wolverine Lake area. She was joined in marriage to Gerald Howarth on October 14, 1961 and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage with Gerald preceding her in death on November 14, 2014. Priscilla was a true optimist and enjoyed politics, which allowed her to serve numerous years on the Village Council at Wolverine Lake. In her early years she was employed by Walled Lake School System until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory children; Kathleen (Lindsay) Bishop, Daniel (Julie) Howarth, Frank Howarth, and her loving grandchildren; Kristina, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Sara and Kasey. Also surviving is brother Michael (Shirley) Hrischuk, sister Debra (Robert) Smith, special nieces Erin Smith, Jennifer Smith, and a host of other relatives.
