Prakseda Helen Czap of Davison, age 90, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday March 1, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Robert C. Bacik, Celebrant, with Rite of Committal to follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Czap will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Helen's memory to the Michigan Kidney Foundation. Helen was born in Flint Michigan on December 29, 1925 the daughter of the late; Stanley & Pelagja (Smolinski) Krupa, and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Norman Czap on February 13, 1954 in Flint. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison. Helen leaves to cherish her memory her husband of sixty-two years Norman, daughters: Christine & Martin Herta, Joanne & Richard Saari, sons; Raymond & Christine Czap, Kevin & Tena Czap, and James & Brenda Czap. She also leaves her loving ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, brother Stanley, Krupa, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Larry & Nancy Czap, sister-in-law Patricia Krupa, and a host of other relatives.
