Phyllis Z. "P.Z." Miles of Davison formerly of Punta Gorda, FL. age 89, went home to the Lord surrounded by family Sunday July 16, 2017 at Whispering Pines of Lapeer. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Phyllis was born in Norwalk, Ohio on November 7, 1927 the daughter of the late Lyle and Zelpha (Witter) Sarr. Phyllis was joined in marriage to Lowell John Miles on October 11, 1947 and remained his devoted wife until his passing on August 8, 1996. They spent 20 plus years running the Thunder Bay Restaurant in Atlanta, MI before retiring to Florida where Phyllis, enjoyed countless hours of shopping, bingo, cards and listening to Engelbert Humperdinck with friends and mostly cherished every moment spent with her 4 beautiful granddaughters and loving sons. Phyllis is survived by sons: Alan and wife Gena Miles, and Thomas and wife Julie Miles; granddaughters: Heidi (Jason) McLellan, Kelly Miles, Kelly McLellan (Christopher Weber), Carli McLellan, and Courtney Leavitt; grandson: SPC Zachary Leavitt and Andrew (Fannie) Hutabarat; sister in law Bethany Webber, and many nieces and nephews and host other relatives and friends.
