Phillip Larry Hunt of Clio, age 69, died Thursday March 25, 2021, at Ascension-St. Mary's. Private family services will be held on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating: with private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 1-3 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, with CDC Guidelines of social distancing, masks and small groups at one time will be followed. Those desiring may make contributions in Phillip's memory to Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Phillip was born in Lapeer Michigan on August 20, 1951 the son of the late Phillip & Susie (Winer) Hunt and has resided in the Clio area the last seven years, spending most of his life in Lapeer County. Answering the call of his Country, Phillip proudly served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed working with his hands and was always tinkering with something to be fixed. He also loved the old time Western TV Movies.

He is survived by his son Christopher, His siblings Paul and wife Marsha Hunt, Marion Pederson, and a host of extended family and friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
