Peter Kenneth Lane of Richfield Township, age 60, died Sunday May 16, 2021 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Private memorial services have taken place, with Fr. Roy Horning officiating. A gather time of family and friends will be held from2 – 5 pm on Thursday May 20, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in memory of Peter to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Peter was born in Flint Michigan on January 2, 1961 the son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Duffing) Lane and has resided in the Davison area the last twenty-one years. He was joined in marriage to Margie Baldridge on April 27, 1985. Peter graduated from Powers Catholic High School, and later played football at Michigan State a sport he truly loved. He loved the outdoors and was an avid Deer Hunter and Turkey Hunter. Many family and friends will remember him as "Santa" during the numerous years he shared at tree farms and community event during that wonderful season know as Christmas. He also attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and was employed in the trucking industry for many years.

Surviving is his loving wife Margie, children: Meghan Lane, and Ryan Lane. He also leaves his sister Peggy Coon, brother Jack Lane, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by brother Pat Lane. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
