Paul Joseph Grohoski Jr. of Richfield Township age 82, died Monday March 16, 2015 at the residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday March 20, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial at Dawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Friday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Paul's memory to Outreach East. Paul was born in Flint Michigan on July 2, 1932 the son of the late Paul Grohoski& Ilda Porter, and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Joyce Elaine Fridline on October 6, 1956 at Davison United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death on December 9, 2014. Answering the call of his country Paul served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He had been a former member of Davison FOE # 3589 and had been employed by Yellow Freight Trucking Company for twenty years retiring in the 1980's. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Karen and husband Jeff Young, grandchildren Justin Young, Jennifer Young, Jessica Young and great grandchild Jace. Paul is preceded in death by brother Wayne Grohoski, and sister Mary Lou Bray. The family would like to express their gratitude to Heart to Heart Hospice, and his caregivers Laurie and Nichole.
