Patricia Ann Standen of Flint, age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday September 16, 2024 at her home apartment in Davison, Michigan.   Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Monday September 23, 2024 at Flint Baptist Temple 1430 E. Bristol Rd. Burton, Pastor Glenn Tatterson officiating. Family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 noon Monday until time of services. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Pat's honor to the church memorial fund.

Pat was born in Flint, Michigan on June 29, 1949.  She was the daughter of Walter and Elsie (Brabbs) Horn and resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Richard Standen on May 2, 1970 and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2011. Patricia was an active member of Flint Baptist Temple, serving in children's and women's ministries and singing in the choir. Additionally, she opened up her home and provided a cozy apartment for missionary families and other visitors to the church.

Pat delighted in being "Gramma".   Her children and grandchildren will remember her as their biggest fan.  She always supported, encouraged, and cheered them on in every one of their endeavors and dreams.

Gramma enjoyed crafts and playing games.  She was a big fan of Elvis and loved to watch football. She enjoyed two trips to Disney World and annual treks to Holland's Tulip Time Festival, Lake City's Greatest Fourth in the North and Labor Day in Tawas.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son: Rick and wife Sara Standen, daughters: Dee Dee and husband Les Surface, and Lisa and husband David Dykgraaf. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Amanda (and husband Rob), Sarah, Michael, Calvin, Noah, Emmy (and fiance Malik) and Callie.  She also leaves behind nine great grandchildren.  Additionally nieces, nephews, friends and the staff at Americana where she resided for the last four years.
