Patricia Ann Abke of Forest Township formerly of Lapeer, age 78 died Wednesday September 17, 2025 at LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care, Burton, Michigan. A gathering time of family and friends will be held from 12-3 pm Monday September 22, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison; Private burial in Cottage Cemetery at a later date. Patricia was born in Flint Michigan on April 4, 1947  the daughter of the late Harry and Shirley (Bryan) Davis and had resided in the Lapeer area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Wayne M. Abke on October 12, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2022. She was a member of West Forest United Methodist Church.  Patricia enjoyed her private time crocheting, and also loved to sew and crafting. Patricia had been employed at Oakdale State Home until her retirement; she later continued her career with the State of Michigan DHS in Port Huron.

She leaves to cherish her memory children: Rodney (Dawn) Abke, Tamara Lee Jackson, and Kevin (Shawn) Abke. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Zachary Abke, Abigail Abke, Paige Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Edward Abke, Ethan Abke and great grandchildren: Wayne and Charlotte.  Surviving also are her seven sisters, three brothers, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister: Sue.
