Norman Charles Welch Jr. of Clio age 61 died Tuesday June 5, 2012 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 4: 00 pm Thursday June 7, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Norman's memory to the charity of your choice. Norman was born in Flint Michigan November 16, 1950 the son of Norman & Joan (Choate) Welch and had live in the area for many years. Answering the call of his country Norman served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. Norman was an avid car enthusiast spending most of his life building, restoring and repairing numerous vehicles. He leaves to cherish his memory sons Lon & wife Stacy Welch, Michael & wife Bridget Welch, and Norman & wife Trina Welch. Sisters: Kathy Fridline, and Deborah Tomaski.
