Norman James Goddard of Flint age 86, died Friday July 20, 2018 at the Landings of Genesee. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday July 26, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Tom Harvey officiating, burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hadley. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Norman's name to the charity of your choice.

Norman was born in Flint Michigan on March 27, 1932 the son of the late James & Sarah (Viola) Goddard and has resided in the area most of his life. He was a member of South Flint Church of the Nazarene and had been employed by General Motors SPO Division until his retirement in the early 1980's.

Surviving are children: Kathy & Ron Shank, Steve & Lillian Goddard, Bonnie Rick "Rod" Pearsio, and stepdaughter Amy Nurmikko & Family.  He also leaves his six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
