WATSON, Nola Lou Ella of Davison age 94 died Friday May 21, 2010 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Monday May 24, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St., Fr. Andrew Czajkowski, Celebrant. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Nola will lie in state at the church from 12:15 p.m. Monday until time of services. No visitation or services will be held at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Nola's memory to Outreach East. Nola was born in Piggott Arkansas August 17, 1915 the daughter of Jim and Ada McLeskey and had resided in the Davison area the last twenty years, spending most of her life in the Flint area. She was joined in marriage to J. Henry Watson July 5, 1935 in Piggott Arkansas and he preceded her in death July 23, 1974. Nola was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and had been employed by Genesee Merchant Bank until her retirement. Surviving is daughter; Sandra and husband Dutch Versteeg, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Sister; Hazel Holifield, and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by sister; Nova Toombs.
