Nathan James King, of Flint age 19, died Wednesday September 2, 2020 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday September 8, 2020 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Otisville, Michigan. Nathan will lie in state at the church from 1:00 pm Tuesday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Nathan's memory to the Hansen Funeral Home.

Nathan was born in Flint Michigan on August 14, 2001 the son of James J. King II and Cassie Severn and has resided in the Flint area his entire life. He attended Flint Community Schools and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving is father James and wife Persia King II, and mother Cassie Severn. He also leaves his siblings: Anthony Stutts, Jaylen Stutts, Krista King, Brayden King, James Joseph King Jr., Savannah King, Wyatt King, and step-brothers: Ashton Rose, Tristan Momier, and Nathan Vleit. His loving grandmother Elaine King, grandmother Julie Severn, grandfather Jim Wright, step-grandmother Ann Fortier, step-grandfathers Jerry Clark and John McFadden. He also leaves special Uncles, Jason King Joseph King, close special friend Mike Taylor, and a host of extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by sister Brianna Stutts, grandfather Bill Severn, great grandfather Benny King, and cousin Brandon King.
