Milton George "Mel" Ferrett of Davison, age 81, died Wednesday February 26, 2020 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held  at the Community Baptist Church 3104 N. Oak Rd at later date. Davison. Pastor Douglas Ferrett & Pastor Lance Fischer officiating, private burial will be held in Davison Cemetery.Those desiring may make contributions in Mel's memory to the family.

Milton was born in Vanderbilt Michigan on March 22, 1938 the son of the late William & Ruby (Holborn) Ferrett and has resided in the Davison area since 1960. He was joined in marriage to Norma Meyers on May 11, 1957. Milton was a member of Community Baptist Church in Davison. He was know as the "Lifesaver" candy man by the children of the church. He was employed as a truck driver for Associated Truck Lines until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of over sixty-two years Norma, children; Tina and (Timon) Rooze, Pastor Douglas and (Linda) Ferrett, and daughter-in-law Roxilee Ferrett Powell, and honorary adopted son John Perkins. He also leaves his loving ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Bradley Ferrett. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
