Mickey J. Carson of Flint, age 58, died Sunday January 10, 2016 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday January 14, 2016 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Mickey's memory to the charity of your choice. Mickey was born in Flint Michigan on September 27, 1957 the son of Virgil & Joyce (Peters) Carson, and has resided in the Flint area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Diana Work on September 4, 1987. Answering the call of his country Mickey served in the US Navy. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Diana, children; Clint Work, Johnna White, and Joseph Carson. Also his grandchildren; Damian White, Payton White, Mallarie Carson, and Landyn Carson. His mother Joyce Carson, and siblings Rick Carson, Nick Carson, Penny Carson, and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by father Virgil, and granddaughter Marissa White.
