Michael Raymond Potbury of Flint, age 72, died Wednesday July 10, 2024 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. A funeral service will be held be at 1:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Matthew Hogue- Smith officiating: with burial to follow in Pinegrove Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Michael's memory to his family.

Michael was born in Flint Michigan on August 20, 1951 the son of the late Harry and (Doris) Lutz Potbury Jr. and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. He enjoyed music and loved playing his guitar. Mike had a passion for cars and spent his life as a mechanic for many of his family and friends.

Surviving is daughter Chelsea Potbury and son Brian Potbury. He also leaves his loving grandchildren, D'Marcus, Dontray Jr, and Draxton. Special friend of eighteen years Renee' Harrison, his siblings: Katherine (Jeff) Harrington, Richard (Tonie) Potbury, Rebecca (Scott) Reda, and a host of extended family and friends.
