Michael James McGrath, 86 years young, passed away on Monday April 5, 2021, after a week's respite ending at Brookdale in Grand Blanc, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday July 17, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. During this time family and friends will be invited to share stories and quotes of Michael's life. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm until time of services.

Born on October 13 1934, to Michael  Joseph and  Beulah (McKenzie) McGrath, both of Canadian heritage, Mike settled in Davison Michigan, with his wife of sixty years, Dianne Ilene (Smith) McGrath, spending the last half-century on a small farm with a pond where he raised sons, Michael Sean, Timothy, and Trent.  Loving survivors, also include his brother, Leo Earl, daughters-in-law Sandra Amaya, Melissa McGrath and grandchildren; Connor, Kyle, Isabele, Alex- all McGraths.

In addition to these dear persons, Michaels leaves the hundreds of students and athletes whose lives he impacted as teacher and coach in Atherton and Davison Districts.
