Michael James Hurd of Davison, age 68, died Wednesday May 13, 2020 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Mike's memory to the Marc Adams Music Scholarship.

Mike was born in Flint Michigan on January 3, 1952 the son of the late Claude & Jacqueline (Essex) Hurd and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Theresa Rowe on December 23, 1993. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1970 and was employed by General Motors Chevrolet Division retiring in 2003.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Theresa, daughter Ashley Lee, sons Bryan and wife Nicole Hurd and Chad and wife Patty Hurd. He also leaves his grandchildren: Brittany, Alexis, Courtney, Landon, Leigha, and Reila. Also surviving is brother Bob Hurd, sister Becky & husband Jim Callis, and a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Officer Mike Brier, and Chief Don Harris for their compassion and care given.
