Michael Leroy Gordon of Burton age 73, died Saturday September 16, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital, Flint. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday September 22, 2017 at the Flint Elks Club 7177 E. Maple Ave. Rev. Zoltan Steve Sutto officiating.Those desiring may make contributions in Mike's memory to the family. Michael was born in Flint Michigan on October 23, 1943 the son of the late; Floyd & Mary (Covington) Gordon and has resided in the Burton area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Mary Morisette on November 9, 1963 and she preceded him in death on July 12, 2015. Michael was a Graduate of Davison Class of 1961. He was Past Exulted Ruler of Elks Lodge 222, Past President Burton Kiwanis; He was a founding member and Coach for the Bentley Skeet Team, and a member of Davison United Methodist Church. Michael was a Financial Planner for Waddell & Reed until his retirement. Surviving is daughter Shelly Stemm, and son Matt Gordon. He also leave grandchildren; Mike Stemm,  Patrick Gordon, Megan Gordon, Joshua Stemm and his great grandchildren Makiya Tolon and Thorrin Stemm.
