Michael E. "Mike" Adams of Davison age 80, died Friday November 28, 2014 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Gene Smith officiating with burial to follow in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Mike's memory to the charity of your choice. Michael was born in Flint Michigan August 25, 1934 the son of Dudley and Dorothy Adams and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Helen Stockton on January 5, 1963. Michael had served the Davison community for over twenty-one years on the Davison Police Department; he then was employed by General Motors Buick Motor Division until his retirement. Surviving is his wife of over fifty-one years Helen, Daughters: Linda & husband Larry Miller, Cathy & husband Howard Pratt, Sue & husband Gary Adkins, and Beth & husband Ron Struck. His loving grandchildren; Lisa & husband Todd Montpas, Jeffrey Miller, Lesley & husband Peter Gadioli, Amy Hudson, Eric Hudson, Mark Hudson, Eric & wife Ashley Whisnant, Brandon Pratt, Sarah & husband Dan Quigley, Jennifer Hoeppner, Adam, Emily, Rachel & husband Chris Jones, and Christopher Struck. Great grandchildren; Connor Montpas, Corbin Montpas, Caleb Montpas, Ethan Morgan, Sophia Miller, Tessa Gadioli, Dylan Pratt, and Abraham Hoeppner.
