Michael Jon Droscha of Eutawville South Carolina, formerly of Davison age 45 died Friday April 16, 2010 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday April 28, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm Tuesday April 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution in Michael's name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of their choice. Michael was raised in Davison, the son of Carl Eugene and Mary Marie (Bailey) Droscha. Michael was employed by NSK Corporation as a Senior Field Service Specialist for the Southeast Region. He enjoyed travel, NASCAR, Buick Grand Nationals, being with family and socializing with friends. Left to cherish his memory are wife Julie (Lutz) Droscha; daughter Delynn Gregory; mother Mary Droscha; siblings David (Suzie) Droscha, Lynda (Jerry) Calvert, Stephen (Val) Droscha; best friend Kenny Lawrence; nieces, nephews and numerous other close relatives. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Carl Droscha, and nephew, Aaron Droscha. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Charleston Cancer Center, and to the many friends, coworkers, and neighbors who have shown their love and support during his illness.
