Megan Marie Abbott (Caraway) of Burton age 44 passed away Saturday August 29, 2026 surrounded by her family at Henry Ford Genesys. Honoring her wishes cremation has take place with no services at this time.

Megan was born in Flint, Michigan on July 9, 1982 the daughter of Robert and LaVonne (Hitsman) Caraway and resided in the Davison area and Burton for the last 20 years with her parents and her sons Ashton and Blake. Megan grew up playing soccer and was known for her assertive energy on the field. She attended Davison High School and cosmetology school afterward. Megan loved makeup, hairstyling, art and drawing. She was also a highly empathic person and in later years, studied Reiki healing and spirituality.

She is survived by her; sons Ashton and Blake; husband Troy; mother: LaVonne; brother: Robert (Joseph Thurlow) Caraway; sister: Morgan and husband Ian Egnater; nephew: Elliott, and host extended family and friends.
