Matthew Alexander Lawrie of Davison age 21 died Sunday December 7, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place with no public services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at later date in 2026.

Matthew was born in Henderson, Las Vegas on November 30, 2004 the son of Thomas Lawrie and Kim Landsman-Markman and has resided in the Davison area since 2013. Matthew graduated from Davison Alternative High School in 2022. Matthew wasn't just a football fan; he was a walking, talking perpetually optimistic fan of the New York Giants which he got from his mother. He also enjoyed basketball from watching and playing the game. He also always had a shadow and that was his dog, Lola. Matthew was an uncompromising foodie, treating every meal as a potential adventure.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mom: Kim and stepdad Charles Markman; his dad: Tom and stepmom Liz Lawrie; sister: Sydney Lawrie (Gavin Elmquist); grandfather: Kenneth Landsman; grandmother: Carol Markman; grandparents: Eugene and Margaret Kowaluk, and host of extend family and friends.
