Matthew Kelly of Genesee Township age 26, died Tuesday September 14, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday October 8, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5191 Richfield Rd. Flint. Fr. Roy Horning, Celebrant, with private burial at a later time. Family will receive visitor from 1-4 pm Thursday October 7, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with a parish scripture service at 4:00 pm. Those desiring may make contributions in Matt's memory to the family.

Matthew was born in Flint Michigan on October 31, 1994 the son of Patrick & Julie (Emery) Kelly and has resided in the area most of his life. Matthew was an active member of the Boy Scouts for many years, and was an avid wrestling fan. He loved all major sports but was a true fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Matthew attended both Clio and Kearsley Community Schools.

Matthew leaves to cherish his memory his parents; Pat and Julie, his brothers: David Kelly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Timothy Kelly of Flint, John Kelly of Flint, and sister Rebecca Kelly of Flint. He also leaves a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Francis & Myrna Kelly, and David & Margaret Emery.
