Matthew T. Baker of Flint/Mt. Morris Township age 51 died Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital. Funeral service will be held Monday November 12, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Pastor Rottiers officiating, cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Matthew was born in Flint, Michigan on December 26, 1966 the son late Chester and Della Jewel (Webb) Baker. Mr Baker  resided in the Flint and Mt. Morris area most of his life. Matthew was joined in marriage to Penny Edwards in Flint on April 7, 1997.

Matt enjoyed building race cars and working in the garage with his sons and grandchildren. Matt was a builder and a Pastor of True Gospel Church on Belle Ave.

He is survived by his wife: Penny; sons: Raymond and Jodi, Matthew and Cassie, and Christopher and Amber; Adopted Sons; Del Hurley, and Michael Campbell, 9 grandchildren; and sister: Belinda Eller. He was preceded death by: son: Chris; parents; brothers: Jeffrey Baker, Fred Baker; sister: Geneva Sexton, and Basil Roth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
