Mary Lee Young of Davison age 83 died Sunday January 14, 2018 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Paul Ytterock officiating with private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mary Lee was born in Flushing, Michigan on Aug 18, 1934 the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Hiltz) Clark and resided in the Davison area the last 20 years. She was joined in marriage to Lester M. Young Jr. December 17, 1955 and he preceded her in death December 27, 2017. Mary Lee was member of the First Presbyterian Church, Flint and the Gilbert Jackson Choral. Mary Lee was employed by Oakland County Health Dept. until her retirement. She is survived by daughter: Kay and husband Keith Harding; son: Mark and wife Sherry Young; grandchildren: Matthew Young, Alex Harding, and Sarah Harding; sisters: Sally and husband Maurice Pickard, and Judy and husband Charles Emery; brother: John and wife Jeanne Clark; and host of extend family.
