Obituary
Mary Frances Ward of Genesee Township, age 83, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Cottage of Davison. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel—Downtown Davison with Pastor Dwayne Sweet officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Grand Blanc. Family will receive visitors Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Mary's memory to Genesee Independent Baptist Church. Mary was born in Hico, West Virginia, on December 21, 1935, the daughter of the late John Schuyler and Mary Agnes (Vincent) Crowder. She was joined in marriage to Emmett Ward on August 22, 1959 in West Virginia. Mary was a devoted member of Genesee Independent Baptist Church. Mary is survived by husband, Emmett, of 60 years, and children—Teresa Rodriguez, Janet Ward, Timothy and wife, Marie Ward, Andrew and wife, Laura Ward, and 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, and twin brother, John Franklin and wife, Patti Crowder, and host of other relatives and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her daughter Julie Renee, several brothers, sisters, and son-in-law Roy Rodriguez. Please share your condolences at
