Mary Elizabeth Sorkin of Clayton Township age 83 died Friday October 3, 2014 at her residence. Honoring her request cremation has taken place, and no services are being held. Mary was born in Flint Michigan on January 19, 1931 the daughter of Walter & Clara (Johnson) Voeks and had resided in Clayton Township the last ten years, spending most of her life in the Flint area. She leaves to cherish her memory children: Jody and husband Jim Purdy, Jana and husband David Barrett, Mark & wife Pam Sass, and Becky Briscoe. Also her grandchildren Tara Busch, Hillary Howell, Philip Sass, Casey Purdy, Becca McConnell, Amos Sass, Hayley Purdy, Corwin Briscoe, and four great grandchildren.
