McMILLAN, Mary Theresa of Davison age 90 died Sunday May 24, 2009. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday May 29, 2009 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation in Mary's memory. Mary was born in flint Michigan May 27, 1918 the daughter of the late Frank & Julia (Gadanyi) Takacs, and had spent most of her life in the Davison area. She was joined in marriage to Herbert McMillan February 9, 1946 and he preceded her in death. Mary was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Burton and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison. Mary had been employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug Division and Davison Community Schools. Surviving are children; Mike McMillan, Julie (Bruce) Bolden, Herbert Jr. (MaryJo) McMillan, M. Chris Wendt, Timothy (Kathy) McMillan, Robert McMillan, and Mark (Cindi) McMillan. Eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and brother; Frank Takacs. She is preceded in death by sister Irene Dougherty.
