Mary Katherine Knight of Davison, age 72, died Sunday June 15, 2025 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held.

Mary was born in Saginaw Michigan on April 20, 1953 the daughter of the late John Chester and Katherine (Davey) Slancik and has resided in Davison since 1999. She was joined in marriage to James Knight on June 20, 1997. Mary loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening.  She had a passion for animals and especially dogs she had volunteered at the animal shelter, and had fostered numerous dogs.  In her early years she and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout Michigan.

She leaves to cherish her memory to husband Jim, children Jennifer Thurman, and Jon Thurman. She also leaves her grandchildren Alex, Isiah, and great grandson Malachi She also leaves her brother Mike Slanick, sister Patti Kronfuss, and a host of extended family and friends.
