Mary Elizabeth Hartsell of Davison, age 84, died Saturday March 31, 2018 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Wednesday April 4, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will be held at 2:00 p.m.Thursday April 5, 2018 in Brookside Cemetery Tecumseh Michigan. Mary will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Wednesday until time of services. She was born in Clayton Michigan on June 14, 1934 the daughter of the late; Joseph W. & Agnes A. (Horvath) Forgacs and had resided in Tecumseh and Highland Michigan before moving to Davison. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Her love for cake baking and decorating became her passion for over fifty years.  She had been employed by Tecumseh Motors and the spent over twenty years at the Harland Consolidated School System. Surviving are daughters Michelle & Rodney Beckwith and Christina Merrow. She also leaves her four grandsons, Austin Hayes, Dylan (Haley) Hayes, Zachary Beckwith, Alex Beckwith, and great granddaughter Greenlee Hayes.  sister-in-law Elaine Forgacs and a host of extended family.
