Marvin Jay Riley Jr. of Flint age 52 formally of Davison died Friday August 28, 2026 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place with no services at this time.
Marvin was born in Flint, Michigan on November 29, 1972 the son of Marvin and Donna (Stone) Riley and resided in the Davison and Flint area most of his life. Marvin graduated from Davison High School in 1990. He was employed by Hurley Medical Center for many years as Electro Neurodiagnostic (EEG Tech). Marvin lived life with a full heart, finding his greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments spent with those he loves most. Whether he was cheering on the Detroit Tigers alongside his daughters or going to Pokémon trade show or tournaments with his son, Marvin enjoyed spending time with his children. Marvin’s love for hockey and racquetball where he was fiercely competitive and a skilled player who celebrated numerous tournament championships. His most memorable moment at the age of 16 traveling with his parents to Miami to play in the Junior Orange Bowl World Champions racquetball tournament. He also embraced his fun-loving side as an avid fan and collector of Star Wars, baseball and hockey cards.
He is survived by his children: Yosha, Fiona, and Ella; his father: Marvin Sr. and wife Connie Riley; step brother: Erik and wife Maria Riley, and host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother: Donna (Stone) Riley; grandmothers: Maxine Fitch, and Gloria Stone; Grandfather: Clements Stone. Please share your condolences at www.HansenFuneralHome.net
