Marveline Eva Merrill "Butterfly Lady" of Davison age 86 passed away Thursday June 6, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Sunday June 9, 2013 at 3:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev Mark Wentzel officiating; private burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton Michigan. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8pm Saturday June 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Marveline was born in Flint, Michigan on January 1, 1927 the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sheroski) Michalak and resided in the Davison and Flint area most of her life. She was joined in married to Dallas Merrill on February 16, 1949 and he preceded her death on September 14, 1977. She was member of the AARP. Surviving are daughters: Diane Merrill, Patricia Merrill, Alice Worth, and son: Perry Mangold; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Beverly Snyder, Barbara Little, Beatrice May, Betty Cooper, and Joyce Hall.
