Martin Paul Wizynajtys of Burton age 67 died Tuesday November 12, 2013 at his residence with his wife by his side. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday November 20, 2013 at the Hansen Funeral home, Downtown Davison. Rev. David K. Flowers will officiate with burial to follow at Meadowview Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Martin's memory to the American Cancer Society. Martin was born in Flint Michigan January 31, 1946 the son of the late Joseph & Margaret (Vedrody) Wizynajtys and had resided in the Davison- Burton areas most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Irene Rocheleau on August 27, 1966. Answering the call of his country Martin served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and had been employed by General Motors Metal Fabrication Division for forty years retiring in 2008. Surviving is wife Irene. Children: Mark (Jennifer Woelke) Wizynajtys and Michele (Dan) Gilliam. Grandchildren: Megan and Emma. Siblings: Joseph (Mary) Wizynajtys, David Wizynajtys, Eleanor (Leslie) Newton, Paul Wizynajtys & special friend David Barber and a host of other relatives.
