Martin M. Heintz of Davison, age 79, died Thursday February 2, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday February 9, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St, Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant, with Rite of Committal to follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-3 and 5-8 pm Wednesday with a parish rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Heintz will lie in state from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services at St. John Catholic Church. Those desiring may make contributions in Martin's memory to the charity of your choice. Martin was born in Pigeon Michigan on December 30, 1937 the son of the late Martin & Theresa (Tittjung) Heintz and has resided in the Davison area since 1994. He was joined in marriage to Christine Winiarski on March 27, 1976 in Farmington Hills Michigan. Martin was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic church in Davison, and had been employed by General Motors retiring in 2000. Surviving is his wife of forty years Christine, children: Shannon (Charles) Rothfuss, Brian (Becky) Litteral, Michael Litteral, and Martin Heintz.
