Munch, Martha A. (Davisson) of Grand Blanc, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at her home at Abbey Park. The family is immensely grateful to the staff of Abbey Park, The Medical Team on-site, and The Medical Team Hospice for their dedication and loving care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept 20, at the First Congregational Church of Grand Blanc, 6494 Belsay Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Visitation is at 11:30am - noon; Celebration of Life Memorial Service noon-1pm.

Martha was born in Salem, West Virginia, on February 22, 1937, the daughter of late Paul and Mary Davisson. She graduated Grand Blanc High School in 1955. She married Phillip Munch, of Flint, in 1958. Martha earned a paralegal degree from Mott Community College in 1982. Following the death of her husband, Phillip, in 1986, she moved to Leesburg, Florida. She returned to Grand Blanc in 2011.

Martha was a long-time member of First Congregational Church of Grand Blanc and of the Flint Elks Lodge 222. She was an avid volunteer and leader throughout her life including active service as President of the Does of the Flint Elks Lodge 222, President of Pine Villa Condo Association in Grand Blanc, Angel Flight Air Ambulance of Florida, and the Lake County (Florida) Sheriff's Department. Martha was always up for a good game of golf, cards, bingo and watching various sporting events.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Phillip, her sister Rosemary Winton (Davisson), brother James Davisson and her daughter-in-law, Katherine Munch (Selesky).  Martha is survived by her daughter, Shari Munch, son, Steve Munch, granddaughter Ashleigh Tobin (Munch), grandsons Michael Munch and Christian Munch, great grandson, Jackson Munch, and numerous nieces and nephews.
