Mark Richard Woodfield of Davison, age 65, died Thursday March 14, 2024 at McLaren-Lapeer Regional Hospital. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday March 18, 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home, Groves Chapel Downtown Davison; Pastor James Shumaker officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Monday until time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Mark's memory to the American Cancer Society.

Mark was born in Detroit Michigan on October 3, 1958 the son of Richard "Woody" and Joyce (Cockerill) Woodfield, and has resided in Davison his entire life. He is a 1976 graduate of Davison High School. Mark was joined in marriage to Celia Elaine Cheek on October 15, 1999 and she preceded him in death on July 9, 2022. Mark was an avid sports fan and a win or lose supporter of all the Detroit Teams.  He owned and operated Woody's Produce until his retirement in 2021.

Surviving is sons: Mark (Angela) Woodfield, Tom (Nina) Woodfield, and step-daughter Tina (Matt Peterson) Cheek. He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Anna, Emilee, Tessa,and Daxton. Mark also leaves his parents: Richard "Woody" and Joyce Woodfield, and his siblings: Karen (Tom) Morey, Cathy Haines, Diane (Red) Anderson and a host of extended family and friends.
