Mark Allen Silvey of Davison, age 70, died Thursday December 29, 2022 at McCandish Manor, Grand Blanc Mi. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at:

Mark was born in Akron, Ohio on April 9, 1952 the son of the late: Kenneth and Eunice (Stott) Silvey and had resided in the Davison-Lapeer area most of his life. He had been employed by General Motors Buick Division later retiring from Grand Blanc Metal Fabrication Division.  He also had become a licensed residential contractor and built many beautiful homes throughout the Lapeer and Davison area. Mark was an ordained minister as one of Jehovahs Witnesses and said this was the accomplishment that he cherished most in his life. He enjoyed helping others and sharing encouragement through the Bible. Mark had many hobbies. He loved to play basketball, football and was an avid hockey player as well.

Surviving are children: Karla (Shem) Wilson, Kurt (Carrie) Silvey, Kyle (Mikki) Silvey, Stephanie (Tim Vezzi) Silvey and Jacob Stallings. He also leaves his six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.  His surviving siblings: Susan (Clair) Wilson, Karen (Dave) Brown, Brian (Julie) Silvey, Brad (Laurianne) Silvey, and a host of extended family and friends.
